Who are we?

Te Ope Kura is the name given to our school Kapa Haka rōpū (group). We meet once a week to work with our tutors Whaea Amelia and Mātua Shane. They teach us waiata (song), waiata ringa (action song) and haka. The highlight of being in Te Ope Kura is when we get to perform.

This blog page is for our members to learn their words and use links to help them improve.
For some of our pieces we have recorded Mātua Shane. Please send a pen drive to school to get a copy.

This will also be a place to share photos of our rōpū.
